How sweet it is to be crossing the ocean on the Queen Mary 2.

Especially when you’re joining Sweet Baby James Taylor. The singer, now 61!, will perform on the eastbound transatlantic sailing leaving New York on June 19 for Southampton, England. Fares begin at $1995 per person.

The songwriter and performer known for moving ballads and dozens of hits, is not the first to rock the Cunard Line’s famous ships. Other performers have included Rod Stewart, Harry Connick, Jr. and Lenny Kravitz.

Taylor, who loved in London, during the swinging 60s and was in the UK when he wrote his hit Fire and Rain, says he has always wanted to sail to Europe. He will perform two concerts during the trip, and also take advantage of the time to rehearse for his European summer tour.

Guests will have a chance to meet Taylor at a private reception, and will receive a bon voyage James Taylor gift. Even if you can't make the trip, you can at least catch him in concert, below.
