Find of the Week: New outdoor collection from CB2

March 26, 2010 | By | Comments (2)

I’ve always been a BIG fan of CB2—a hip, modern (and smartly priced!) version of its parent company, Crate and Barrel. It never fails to boast punchy colors and sleek designs, so when its summer 2010 catalogue appeared in my mailbox, I was elated. Flipping through during my lunch yesterday really took me to wish list dreamland (a special place I reserve for the drool-worthy products I see—and instantly love—while researching Coastal Living stories). It also gave me a serious longing for a summer spent outdoors. Below are my favorites from their fabulous new outdoor collection. Key lime green and glossy white are the looks to love this season!

The igloo chair shows off a 1950s iconic look with handwired white wire and a rust-resistant finish.

I adore this fun, rolling bar cart with wheels that easily glide across a deck, porch, or pool area surface. Slide me the chips and salsa, please!

You can’t help but smile when you look at these full-of-personality plates (and how often do you get to say that?). Just the thing for the casual appetizer served to happy, go-lucky guests.

This chair is fabulous on so many levels. Not only will its bright green color punch up any space, but it also folds into an easy-to-carry (and side note: easy to spot clean) lounger for a pool or beachside party. Best of all, it’s a very reasonable $90.

Pucker Lounge Chair, $90;

Outside entertaining often means guests balancing heaping plates of food on their laps (and if you’re me, spilling onto that lap), so this sleek serving tray is a stylish solution. Its size isn’t awkward or unwieldy, like most serving trays, and it has smart handles and a rim to keep plates from sliding off the edge.
