Flickr photos of the oil spill

Whether you're from the Gulf or not, coast lovers are plugged into this oil spill. We want to know the latest info on which beaches are affected, how many birds have been rescued, and what lawmakers are doing to make sure this never happens again. Personally, I'm watching CNN and scouring news websites at the same rate that sports fanatics are secretly streaming World Cup games at work.

This morning I discovered Oceana's Flickr website, where they encourage visitors to the Gulf to upload photos and be the eyes for those of us who can't make it to the oiled shorelines. Below, I've included some of the photos that moved me most. Check out the rest by clicking here.

If you have photos to share, Oceana tells you how to upload them here. Also, be sure to check out CNN's IReport for moving videos and firsthand accounts.
