Backwater Jack’s in Washington, NC. It’s great! They have the best Rum Rummers around and Pebble Beach to wait and enjoy entertainment while you wait for a much-sought after seat. The food is great, but the best thing is the wait staff. We love this place and drive a 20 minute drive many times to go from our town of Greenville to Washington.

Backwater Jack’s is the greatest little Tiki Bar in Eastern North Carolina. It’s known as the fun zone, fun food, people, and atmosphere. Food is super and drinks too. BWJ is on Runyon Creek with a great view of the public boatramp. Patrons love to hold up number cards rating the boats as they trailer and untrailer. Favorite seafoods are the shrimp or fish tacos, and the Mahi Mahi Reuben.

Singleton’s in Mayport Village, FL—they have some of the greatest seafood I’ve ever tasted! It’s caught fresh everyday and then cooked up the way you like it (broiled, blacked, fried). I love their clams, crab cakes and the hush puppies are to die for! Their chowder is also very good—it’s seasoned in a way that I’ve not tasted in other clam chowders. Very rustic and relaxed atmosphere.

Cantler’s in Annapolis, Md!!! A locals hideaway- not easy to find by land or water but worth it when you get there!! I like to go by water on my boat. They have the most amazing crabs around (the onion rings are to die for also)! Jimmy Buffet has been known to go to Cantler’s when he is in town!

I live in Seagrove Beach on 30A.The best oysters, raw, baked and fried are at Dusty’s in Panama City Beach AND Hunt’s in Panama City. Dusty’s over Hunt’s for fried seafood and home made onion Rings. Hunt’s over Dusty’s for the “sit at the bar” atmosphere.
