Friday Find of the Week: High Points of High Point

October 22, 2010 | By | Comments (4)

Style Director Heather Chadduck and I just got back from a fabulous–not to mention, tiring– week at the furniture market in High Point, North Carolina. We scoured hundreds of showrooms for the hottest furniture trends. Our favorite: customization. Now you can be the designer: from paint finishes to fabric choices, the possibilities are endless! Here are some of our favorite pieces to make your own:

Part of the new Coastal Living collection with Vanguard! We love the rope braiding on the side– a great nautical spin on a clean ottoman.

Drum Outdoor Ottoman, leeindustries.com (photo courtesy of leeindsutries.com)

This nailhead ottoman is– gasp– part of Lee's outdoor collection. So chic we want two for our living room. Plus, it's made of Sunbrella fabric, so there's no fuss over an accidental wine spill.

Chesterfield Terrific

The classic look of a tufted chesterfield chair got a modern upgrade with a super-deep seat and white leather upholstery.

Mixing old and new will never go out of style and we adore this vintage, faux bamboo mirror coated in white lacquer. Check out the lime green!
