Wish I Was There Wednesday…Northern California

A week ago at this time I was sitting on an expansive deck at the Gloria Ferrer Winery in Sonoma, CA overlooking acres of amazing grapes ripening on the vine. Today I'm sitting at my desk, looking through pictures of the amazing trip I took with my boyfriend to San Francisco, Sonoma and Napa Valley, California.

We started our trip in San Fran, sightseeing in the Marina district, window shopping on Union Street and Chestnut Street, and eating amazing food.

After spending the rest of the day in the Golden Gate Park (there are bison there!) and enjoying the breathtaking sites on the coast, we drove to Sonoma and Napa to enjoy wine country.

Sonoma and Napa were amazing and so was the drive we took Highway 1 down the coast to Santa Cruz. We stopped in a national forest and saw the HUGE redwood trees.

I wish I was there in Northern California right now!

Wow, love your pictures. We are going to California in April and can’t wait to see SF, LA and of course the wine country.

Spend quite a bit of time taking photos in beautiful places. Always love the Bison in Grand Teton National Park. Surprised to learn there are Bison in Golden Gate Park! Thanks for The heads up and all the photos!

The Napa area and coast is one of the most beautiful places in the world. I will definitely check out the Bison next visit. Thanks for the great pictures.
