The results: Coastal Living editors’ ornament contest!

December 16, 2010 | By | Comments (27)

Here at Coastal Living, we do everything with a beachy twist–our desks are lined with shells from far-flung shores, we sport sandals on "Flip Flop Fridays" throughout summer months, and we've even named a popular office gathering spot, "the coconut table"…even though there are no coconuts (but there is a table!). It's no surprise that when we decided to have a Christmas ornament contest, every staff member inserted his or her own creative coastal touch. The challenge was to take one plain, glass ball ornament and make it shine. Comment below and tell us which one is your favorite!

Sailboat on Sea of Swirls gets my vote for most creative coastal-inspired; and Sea Glass Galore for best use of beachy resources; and Sand-woman for most fun! Love them all – what a fun idea!
