2011 Ultimate Beach House, Week 16: Open for Tours
Time to celebrate! The 2011 Coastal Living Ultimate Beach House is open for tours! All the anxious waiting can stop, and you can finally walk through to take in this masterpiece.
After all the hard work, hot days and stress, it was time to put down the hammer, grab a glass of wine, and eat tasty hors d'œuvres at the Coastal Living Grand Opening Party. Mayors, councilmen, and anyone who had a hand in this beautiful project was there to marvel and celebrate.
We know you have been waiting for this moment where you can finally step in this beach dream house. Tours are going on now until November 27th, Wednesday – Saturday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Tickets are available at the East Beach Sales Office Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Both credit cards and cash are accepted.

This is just gorgeous! Outdoor living takes an a whole new dimension by the ocean. Nothing beats dining seaside, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Outdoor furniture for dining works well as long as it’s made of a material that resists the salt air. My friend uses a high-end set of folding tables and folding chairs for patio furniture at his beach cottage, and stores them away when not in use.
When will you have a virtual tour on the website? I was passing through Norfolk last Sunday but was too early to tour the house – darn! But I did drive by it & it looks fabulous. I’m dying to see the inside…
How’s the house after Irene?
I will come tour soon! This lovely neighborhood has been on my “hit list” of coastal places to visit for a future move or summer home. I was almost in tears when looking at each room online – it is exactly as I would have chosen (with the help of the designers, of course!). It is truly my dream home.

What a paradise, it’s a shame this kind of places are reserved for the rich people! I would like to visit it, but it costs a small fortune to become the truth.
