We’re not the only ones in love with musician Jack Johnson’s driftwood tree. We’ve heard from several readers who’ve been inspired to create their own version (or had constructed one prior to seeing it in Coastal Living). Discover their masterpieces, and share yours with us on Facebook or Instagram using #cldriftwoodtree:

“We loved the cover driftwood tree so much we had to make our own (albeit in 3-D) for our celebrations! The ornaments have been collected over the years, the fence is a 1930s creation of my grandfather and the star on top is one I made as a little kid in Connecticut.”

“My step mother showed me a copy of your December magazine and was very surprised to see our Christmas tree on the cover.  Looks like Jack Johnson’s tree and ours are very similar.  This is the second one that I have made over the years.  The first one was much smaller, and we used it outdoors for Christmas.  The one here my wife and I made for this year indoors and had a lot of fun making and decorating it.”

“Thanks for the ideas in Holidays by the sea (Dec-Jan) issue!
My husband copied the tree that was on the cover and we decorated with
items we already had. I added a tinsel that smells like a pine tree, and
when we put it all together, it fit just right in our home in Florida.”
