A portion of the proceeds from the tours of the 2014 Showhouse will benefit the The Navy SEAL Foundation. The Navy SEAL Foundation was formed to support the U.S. Navy SEALs, the associated Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewmen and the Naval Special Warfare, (NSW) support personnel as well as their spouses and children. The Foundation coordinates closely with the Navy to support critical needs of active-duty personnel, while also providing resources for NSW veterans.
Formed in 2000, the Foundation focuses its efforts on three key areas: family/command services and support, educational programs, and legacy activities. They make it possible for families to receive assistance and support from one organization, while enabling the Foundation to respond rapidly to their needs.
Coronado has two military bases: Naval Air Station North Island and Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. Naval Base Coronado’s (NBC) mission is to arm, repair, provision, service and support the U.S. Pacific Fleet and other operating forces. The on‑base population of NAB Coronado is 5,000 military personnel and 7,000 students and reservists.
The Navy SEAL Foundation is an organization close to the heart of the Showhouse team, including the Principals of Flagg Coastal Homes, Mark Blore, a former Navy SEAL and John OBrien, a former Combatant Craft, (Nasty Class PTF) Officer.
Be sure to visit our Showhouse when it opens in July to support this great cause!
