The fitness expert and founder of the Tracy Anderson Method shares her workout secrets and a killer playlist.
Make Workouts a Necessity. “Think of exercise as an activity that’s as essential as brushing your teeth in the morning or going to work. Once you get used to a routine, it’s easy to keep it up.”
Turn Up the Volume. “Our bodies are naturally programmed to want to move to music and rhythm, so make sure you have an upbeat playlist to work out to.” (Get Tracy’s picks, right.)
Switch It Up. “People often get comfortable doing just one type of exercise, but that can limit your results. When you work the same muscles over and over, it creates imbalance. Variety gives you a leaner look all over.”
Keep the Calories Coming. “I never recommend extreme diets or juice cleanses, even before a big event. Anytime you crash your metabolic rate, you’re confusing your digestive process, which is what leads to yo-yoing weight.”
