We’re clinging to the last days of summer for dear life (fall officially begins on September 22), so when these gorgeous hotel cabanas came across our desks, we took a little vacation from our to-do lists to imagine ourselves lounging, cocktail in hand, at each of these glorious poolside retreats.
So from our desks to yours, happy daydreaming!
At W Retreat & Spa – Vieques Island off the coast of Puerto Rico, the six poolside cabanas come with all the necessities: bottle service, massages, and a “Mood Menu,” the resort’s grown-up mood ring, which promises a proper cocktail for every mood. (But how could you be anything but happy on that oversized chaise lounge?)
The cabanas at Conrad Miami take luxurious lounging to new heights – literally. The rooftop hideaways offer stunning views of the Miami cityscape and Biscayne Bay, just a block away. Cool off with a dip in the pool or a guava-jalapeño-popsicle-and-Prosecco cocktail, delivered right to your chair.
Sure, close proximity to an infinity pool with an underwater window is nice, but the pièce de résistance at play in the cabanas at Anguilla’s Zemi Beach House is the view of the jewel that is Shoal Bay East.
The Restoration Hardware-furnished cabanas at the Hilton West Palm Beach include fresh fruit and rosé, but if you’re not a fan of the fruity pink sipper, give the hotel’s barrel of Knob Creek bourbon a whirl instead.
You won’t find a cabana swankier than this one. Perched on the roof of Mexico’s Thompson Playa del Carmen, the pool and its cabanas offer spectacular views of Playa del Carmen and the Caribbean. While food and bottle service are available, hopping in the pool to grab a drink at the swim-up bar is a more fun way to cool off.
Designed by fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, the posh cabanas at Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo are white haute, from their breezy privacy curtains to the graphic pattern on those groovy woven chairs. Did we mention the cabanas are positioned right by a saltwater pool? Yes. Please.
At Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort, there’s only one sensible thing to do after playing all morning on South Florida’s largest private beach: reserve one of the resort’s beach-view cabanas, put your feet up, and enjoy butler service.
The recently launched poolside cabanas at Key West’s Casa Marina come with 5-star service: every 90 minutes, a Beach Concierge will stop by with a treat (think chilled eucalyptus towels, sunglass cleanings, and cocktail tastings from the resort’s rum bar!).
Overlooking one of Miami Beach’s largest swimming pools, the cabana at W South Beach offers 200 square feet of personal luxury, from the flat-screen TV to refreshing all-natural cocktails and beach bites delivered directly to you.
Ahhhh, paradise. Who else is ready for an end-of-summer escape?
